Birthday Surprise: What an evening! Turns out that my pharmacy colleagues know how to surprise someone. It was our last day of rotation at the Jewish General Hospital. We went to downtown for supper. We ate delicious Korean food. At the very last moment, unexpectedly, they threw a surprise birthday party! I could not stop smiling as everyone sang me happy birthday. I cherish our pharmacy team. Residency wouldn’t be the same without these amazing colleagues. | Badminton: Exercise is the best therapy. After 4 weeks of pharmacy rotation at the Jewish General Hospital, we went out for badminton. We drove together to the CEPSUM complex sport centre. We played for nearly 2 hours, but time went by so fast in good company. We hope to continue this tradition, and come up with a new group activity for every end of our resident rotation. | Birthday Hospital: COVID doesn’t stop us from throwing a good celebration. We celebrated a ZOOM birthday surprise for our pharmacy colleague. At lunch time, many residents from different hospitals, including MUHC and Ste-Justine, all gathered to wish him happy birthday. We waited impatiently, looking at the door every minute, with the ZOOM camera open, as he went into our office for lunch. Even in the hospital, we can make a good celebration for our colleague. |
